Description:

This position will begin April 1, 2025 to join the HSS Dean's Office. Duties include: Oversee various annual college events including, but not limited to, Donuts w/the Dean, Red Riots, HSS Awards Banquet & HSS Commencement Activities. Coordinate with various campus entities such as scheduling, facilities, guest services, Chartwells, etc. leading up to and during HSS Events. Collaborate with HSS Media & Marketing Coordinator to develop marketing strategies for college events. Provide outstanding professional customer service n person, on the phone and through email. * Assist the HSS Leadership Team with various clerical and reporting duties including, but not limited to: digital file management, coordinating and setting up meetings, maintaining inventory of office supplies, create and update reports and digital maintenance, assist in special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Must be work-study eligible.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, organized, proactive and reliable.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills and a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Must have the ability to professionally handle confidential information and complete mandatory FERPA training, as required.
  • Skills in Google Suite applications and data analytics preferred.
  • Prior event planning and management experience preferred.
